SMOKING GREEN

I started scribbling on the back of my textbook in English class, my mind was wandering, jammin on Jupiter, and then I was strolling on a white sandy beach in Ocho Rios where I met this native beachcomber that looked like he had been sunbathing on Mercury. This “once in a lifetime” trip has been resurrected after lying dormant for 45 years.

HILLBILLY HANEY

I laid my head against a massive granite tombstone under the cool shaded canopy of Birch and Oak and embarked on a day-long journey. This image stood out amongst a collage of hallucinatory stimulating, picturesque, mind-altering visions that escorted me out of Social Studies class to the serene, tranquil grounds of the Catholic boneyard, where I envisioned and materialized Head on a Post.

Curly was born in the gloom of darkness at the zenith of a heightened sense to telepathic messages to the vast unknown, like the Ol West meets Sci-Fi. Curly arrived in the interplanetary Perpetual Omnibus that took us on a journey, navigating the cosmos, galivanting around the galaxies, and busy passing time with Socrates without ever leaving my seat.
